The Brigadier B3’s Beginnings

Stephen Ryder got the idea for an eyeglass holster, the Brigadier B3, in 1971 while working as a Deputy Sheriff. It just made sense. He had a holster for his gun, why not have a holster for his sunglasses? Which he was taking on and off regularly throughout his day.

After some ten years of designing prototyping and honing the design, Stephen had the first B3 prototype manufactured in Montreal. He then went on to use this original Brigadier B3 in his everyday life. He even gave a few to friends and that was all.

Fast forward to 2022, now retired, Stephen thought that now he had some free time it was a good time to offer the B3 for sale. Afterall the Brigadier B3 has provided him with easy access to all of his glasses for more than 40 years.
